shoot four - mill green

SHOOT FOUR
This is the third shoot that I've done at Mill Green nature reserve and I was expecting to see some changes on this shoot, especially as I went in a different weather - it was raining and very foggy. So the reserve already looked a lot different to the times I've previously visited just due to the weather.
Contact Sheets
These are the contact sheets from my shoot, I took a number of different images, showing the changes.
Working Images
These images are of the trees/blossom and how they're changing.
In the first image, this is the blossom tree that I've previously photographed in other shoots, in this image it clear that the blossom is starting to die and there's no new buds appearing on the branches - showing that the blossom is coming to an end.

In the second image this is a tree that I have been photographing for the project - continuing so that I can see how it changes and its surroundings. In this image the tree itself looks very similar to previous shoots, however the atmosphere around it is a lot more muggy and foggy which changes the whole appearance of the nature reserve and the photo comes across as quite dark and tranquil.
These images are of the pool/lake in the centre of the nature reserve, they show the overview of the lake as well as the gloomy sky. In these images you can clearly see the mist and fog in the air which is interesting as it shows the nature in a different light. The water levels are also very high compared to the previous images I've taken due to the heavy rain. This shows the transformation of it day to day and how it's always changing.
These images are more of the walkway and the landscape. The first one is taken from. position that I have taken images of on previous shoots to indicate the changes. It's a lot darker due to the fog and grey sky, and the oil on the floor as started to wash away.

In the second image it's quite overexposed in places, but I quite like this as it clearly shows the fog and the change of weather. The trees are also starting to grow more leaves and greenery.
Overall, I think the shoot is successful and I'm happy with how the images have turned out.
